smartcareer is hiring an IT Support Specialist to support our finance-related software systems and ensure continuous network functionality. This role will involve working with high-availability systems and handling support for financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide desktop and network support for employees in the finance department.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues with financial systems and secure databases.
- Set up and configure VPN connections for secure access to financial data.
- Assist with system upgrades, installations, and patches to ensure security.
- Document common issues and create knowledge base articles for the support team.
Skill & Experience
- Software: Microsoft Office Suite, financial applications (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Networking: VPN, DNS, routing and switching protocols
- Experience: 2+ years in IT support within the finance industry
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Financial Technology certifications (optional)
